CEMS — Aesthetic Emergency Protocol App
The aesthetic emergency protocol app — offline, weight-based, and ready before you need it.
Vascular occlusion. Anaphylaxis. Syncope. Aesthetic emergencies are rare, and they never announce themselves. CEMS puts one-tap emergency activation, the protocol, the dose and the incident record in your hand — working with no Wi‑Fi, no signal, and no time to think.
Installs from your browser — Add to Home Screen on Android or iOS. No app store, no download wait.
The 60 seconds that decide the outcome
A complication is not the moment to search, remember, or hope.
When a filler meets an artery, the tissue clock starts immediately — and the literature is blunt about what happens next. Studies of filler-induced vascular occlusion describe high-dose hyaluronidase protocols delivering 450–1,500 IU across repeated cycles, with treatment ideally started within four hours. That is a calculation, a plan and a record — under adrenaline — while a patient is in your chair.
Most clinics respond with a printed algorithm card, a PDF, or a phone search. None of those compute a dose for a 58 kg patient, none of them work when the clinic Wi‑Fi drops, and none of them produce the timestamped record an inspector will later ask for. CEMS was built for exactly that gap.
What's inside
Eight protocols, five calculators and a medico-legal record — in one glove-friendly screen
Every element exists for one reason: to shorten the distance between recognising a complication and treating it correctly.
One-tap emergency activation
Open CEMS and the emergency flow starts immediately — choose the presentation, get the protocol. No menus, no searching, and nothing to remember about the app at the moment you can least afford to think about it.
Eight emergency protocols
Vascular occlusion with hyaluronidase dosing, anaphylaxis with adrenaline, local anaesthetic systemic toxicity with intralipid, acute haematoma, vasovagal syncope, herpes simplex outbreak, procedure-related infection, and filler nodules or Tyndall effect — each a step-by-step action checklist with CRITICAL steps flagged so nothing is skimmed in a hurry.
Five weight-based calculators
Hyaluronidase for vascular occlusion, adrenaline for anaphylaxis, intralipid for LAST, local anaesthetic maximum safe dose (lidocaine, lidocaine with adrenaline, bupivacaine, ropivacaine), and botulinum toxin dilution — computed for the patient in front of you, not a textbook average.
Treatment timer with alerts
Start the clock on the protocol itself, with quick presets and vibration alerts for interval re-dosing and review windows — because "repeat hourly until resolution" is easy to say and easy to lose track of mid-incident.
Incident log with voice and photos
Dictate notes, attach clinical photographs, preview the report, and export a timestamped PDF for your clinical file, your insurer, or a CQC inspection.
Emergency facility locator
An offline hospital and hyperbaric (HBOT) directory with distance and one-tap call — so the referral destination is decided before the emergency, not during it.
Biometric lock, encrypted on device
Face ID or Touch ID with a PIN fallback, and incident data encrypted at rest on your device. Patient context — allergies, medications, weight — stays local and wipes in one tap.
Offline-first, by design
Every protocol, calculator and record lives on the device. No connection required to open a protocol, run a dose or log an incident. A medico-legal disclaimer is accepted once, at first launch.
Inside the app
Built for a gloved hand, a busy room, and a raised heart rate
Large touch targets. High contrast. Minimal scrolling. Protocol-first navigation — because in an emergency you should never be hunting through menus.

In the room
Three taps from recognition to record
Open the protocol
Choose the presentation — occlusion, anaphylaxis, syncope, infection. The action checklist opens immediately, with critical steps marked.
Run the dose
Enter weight and agent. CEMS returns the dose and the volume, with the basis shown beneath it. Start the treatment timer.
Document it
Log the incident as it happens: outcome, follow-up, notes and photos. Export a timestamped PDF for your records or your inspection file.
For clinic directors
Standardised emergency readiness, across every injector you employ
Emergency protocol compliance is one of the areas inspection regimes examine most closely — and "each injector keeps their own notes" is not evidence. Team licences put the same protocol version, the same calculators and the same incident-log structure in every clinician's hand, so your governance story is consistent across the whole team.
Pair CEMS with our clinical governance framework for UK clinics: CATS CQC UK for inspection-ready protocols, consent and evidence, and the free CQC readiness gap analysis to see where your documentation stands today.

Independence
No product endorsements. No brand funding. Ever.
CEMS is developed by 3D Rejuvenation Academy and Dr. Amr Ismail, MD — the same independent, evidence-first standard behind the masterclasses. Protocols are built from peer-reviewed published literature and are updated continuously as the evidence moves, not as a manufacturer prefers.
Your annual subscription exists for one reason: the guidelines keep changing and your protocols shouldn't be the reason you fall behind.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What is CEMS?
The Clinical Emergency Management System is an offline-first emergency reference app for aesthetic practitioners: one-tap emergency activation, eight step-by-step protocols (vascular occlusion, anaphylaxis, local anaesthetic toxicity, acute haematoma, vasovagal syncope, herpes simplex, procedure-related infection, and filler nodules or Tyndall effect), five weight-based dosing calculators, and a timestamped incident log with voice dictation, photographs and PDF export. It is an educational reference tool, not a substitute for training or emergency services.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. CEMS is offline-first: protocols are cached on your device, so protocols and calculators open with no Wi-Fi and no mobile signal. Incident records are stored locally and sync when you're back online.
How do I install it on Android?
Open the CEMS link in Chrome, tap the menu, and choose Add to Home Screen (or Install app). On iPhone, open the link in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It then launches full-screen from your home screen like any other app — no app store download required.
Which dosing calculators are included?
Five calculators: hyaluronidase dosing for vascular occlusion, adrenaline (epinephrine) for anaphylaxis, intralipid for local anaesthetic systemic toxicity, local anaesthetic maximum safe dose for lidocaine, lidocaine with adrenaline, bupivacaine and ropivacaine, and botulinum toxin dilution. Each result shows the calculation basis alongside the dose.
Does CEMS store patient data?
CEMS stores no patient identifiers — no names, no dates of birth, no contact details. You can hold an on-device patient context (allergies, medications, weight) so it is ready the moment you need it; it stays encrypted on your device behind the biometric lock, is never uploaded, and wipes in one tap.
Is this a replacement for training or for calling emergency services?
No. CEMS is an educational reference tool that supports trained clinical judgement. In any true emergency, call emergency services — 999 in the UK, 911 in North America, 112 in the EU — and follow your local protocols.
Is the app secure if my phone is lost or shared?
CEMS locks behind Face ID, Touch ID or a PIN, and incident data is encrypted at rest on the device. Patient context never leaves the phone and can be wiped in one tap. Because no patient identifiers are recorded, a lost device does not expose an identifiable patient record.
Can my whole clinic use one subscription?
One subscription is one seat, one clinician. The Team licence covers 5 seats, each with its own access link, and seats can be reassigned when staff join or leave. Clinics with more than 10 injectors can add a second Team Plus licence, or contact us about network pricing.
What happens to my protocols if I don't renew?
Your access ends with the subscription. The annual fee funds continuous guideline review and updates — the reason the protocol you opened today reflects the current evidence rather than last year's.
Is there a discount for trainees or students?
Yes — $69 per year with proof of medical, nursing or student registration. Contact the Academy with your registration details.
You already know what you would do. CEMS makes sure you do it right, on the day it happens.
Start the 14-day trial, run a hyaluronidase calculation, and decide with the app open in front of you.
30-day money-back guarantee · Cancel any time · Works offline from day one
